‘Yellowstone’ star Luke Grimes is expecting his first child!
On Sunday, August 4, Bianca Rodrigues, Grimes’ wife, shared the news on Instagram that she is pregnant. She posted a photo of her reflection in a glass door, showing off her baby bump, and captioned it, “Can’t wait to meet you little one ❤️.”
Grimes, known for his role as Kayce Dutton on the Paramount Network series, married Rodrigues in November 2018. The couple lives in Montana. While Grimes often shares updates about his musical endeavors on Instagram, Rodrigues frequently posts about their life together, including a recent road trip they took in March, which she documented with a series of photos.
This year has been busy for Grimes. He will return as Kayce Dutton when new episodes of ‘Yellowstone’ premiere on November 10 at 8 p.m. ET on Paramount Network and Paramount+ for Canadian viewers. The show will also air in the U.K. on November 11, and later in Latin America, Brazil, and France.
In addition to his acting career, Grimes has been active in music. In April, he released a live version of a cover song and performed at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California.
Before achieving fame with Yellowstone, Luke Grimes, who grew up as the son of a pastor, was a drummer in a country band. In a 2022 interview with Rolling Stone, Grimes shared that his exposure to music was somewhat restricted during his childhood. He mentioned, “The ‘secular’ music I was allowed to listen to as a kid was Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Cash. That’s the kind of folk and country-rock my dad, who grew up in the Appalachian Mountains, played when he wasn’t pastoring.”
In addition to his work on Yellowstone, Grimes appeared in the 2023 film Happiness for Beginners, available on Netflix.
Grimes’ acting career began with a role as Jake in the 2006 film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane. He made his TV debut as Ryan Lafferty on Brothers & Sisters from 2009 to 2010. His notable film credits include American Sniper and his role as Elliott Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey series.
