Post Malone frequently reflects on his daughter, whose name he keeps private. In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning on August 11, he revealed that he has her initials tattooed on his forehead.

During the interview, Malone discussed his new country album F-1 Trillion, including the song “Yours,” which imagines his two-year-old daughter’s future wedding. He admitted he thinks about her often and has written numerous songs inspired by her.

Malone credited his fiancée and daughter with profoundly changing his life. He mentioned how they have helped him overcome a difficult period, marked by loneliness and excessive drinking. He noted that his past struggles have helped him understand himself better and improve his well-being. “It’s the most amazing thing,” he said. “If you’ve heard her cry, you’ll never forget her.”

He connected his past struggles with the messages of love he shares with fans, emphasizing the importance of reminding people that they are loved, especially those who might feel isolated.

In a 2023 episode of the podcast “Call Her Daddy,” Malone mentioned that his concerns about his daughter’s future prompted him to reduce his drinking. He said he wanted to be more present for her and take better care of his body.

Malone also praised his partner as an exceptional mother and shared that becoming a father has deepened his appreciation for Tim McGraw’s 1994 hit “Don’t Take The Girl,” performing a cover of the song at Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California earlier this year.
