Taylor Swift is back at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart.
Her latest album, *The Tortured Poets Department*, has reclaimed the No. 1 position on the chart dated August 10, Billboard reported on Sunday, August 4. This marks the 13th nonconsecutive week that the album has been at the top, having shifted 71,000 equivalent album units through August 1. The album originally held the No. 1 spot for its first 12 weeks following its release on April 19.
Swift’s run at No. 1 was interrupted in late July when Eminem’s *The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)* took over the top spot on the July 27 chart. For the past two weeks, *The Tortured Poets Department* had been at No. 4 before its recent return to No. 1. Eminem’s album was subsequently dethroned by Stray Kids’ new mini-album, *Ate*, on the previous week’s chart.
The continued success of *The Tortured Poets Department* is fueled by Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour and the release of multiple album variants. On August 3, Swift released a new digital version of the album, which included the bonus track “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys (First Draft Phone Memo)” for a limited 24-hour sale.
In July, Swift marked her 12th week at No. 1 and expressed her gratitude to fans on Instagram, saying she was “blown away” by their support.
“I want to thank everyone who has supported *The Tortured Poets Department*. I’m truly amazed by what you’ve done—having it stay at #1 for the first 12 weeks of its release is something that’s never happened with any of my albums before. You’re incredible,” she wrote on July 20, sharing photos from her Eras Tour shows in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
Swift performed her latest Eras Tour concert in Warsaw, Poland, on Saturday. “I’m in a fantastic mood tonight, and I wanted to share that it’s because of something you did … You helped make the Eras Tour the first tour ever to play three sold-out nights at this stadium,” she said during her third and final concert at the PGE Narodowy stadium.
Swift’s next performances will be three nights in Vienna, Austria, from August 8 to August 10. She will then return to London for five more sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium from August 15 to August 20, having previously performed three shows at the venue in June.
